The base camp will be situated in the Cavnic resort, direction Sighetu Marmatiei, in the courtyard of Icoana slope.

Accommodation: places for tents are available ( free of charge) including access to the showers and toilets. Rooms with 2,3,4 or 7 places are also available as accommodation (all rooms are equipped with own bathroom, internet, tv set), for the price of 30 RON/pers./night. Rooms will be booked according to the dates of the reservations. Places are limited to 40.

• Wednesday 08.09.2010, 19:00 technical meeting – all information related to this year’s race will be communicated
• Thursday, 09.09.2010, 07:00 Race starts (The start might be given from a different location than the base camp. This would imply the transport of the competitors to the designated location 1,5-2 hours prior the beginning of the competition – proxy. 05:00. This information will be communicated as final during the technical meeting)
• Sunday, 12.09.2010, 07:00 – Finishing time
• Sunday, 12.09.2010, 12:00 Prizes awards
• Sunday, 12.09.2010, 13:00 Festivity meal (gulas)

-          Trekking  aprox. 25 km, elevation gain 1400m

-          Mtb  aprox.  125 km  short race and 220km  long race

-          Rope trials

-          The orienteering event will imply a longer route for this year

-          The water trial (raft or kayak) – will be held if the weather allows it. No additional equipment is necessary

The principle promoted last year – to have an adventure and not a marathon, stands for this year too, and Lapusului County offers a lot of challenges, especially for the mtb fans, hence the prevalence of this trial. Therefore, we emphasize that all the above mentioned data represents just a guideline for a recommended circuit, but of course, the competitors may choose their own route as long as it includes all the intermediary Check Points of the race (compulsory condition). Having a choice for the route, the adventure may become a unique experience for each team. Further information with reference to the optional routes in between the CP will be given at the technical meeting, the evening preceding the race.
